Overview

The Lean Six Sigma (LSS) White Belt training teaches the fundamentals of process improvement and the key tools that are available. It is primarily for anyone who wants to learn more about how process improvement methodologies can lead to change and efficiency. It is broken down into phases that focus on Improvement Philosophy, Identifying Waste in Processes, Process Improvement Frameworks, Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Engaging with Stakeholders, Creativity and Solution Finding, and Delivering to Customer Requirements and Maintaining Improvements. Delegates will learn the main principles of LSS and have a go at key tools within that phase that can help deliver improvement, change and process efficiency.

Programme

Participants will explore:

  • The concepts of Lean; value added activity and waste
  • How to uncover root causes and underlying factors causing problems
  • How to effectively identify and engage with stakeholders
  • Methods for coming up with new ideas and selecting the most valuable to move forward with
  • How to understand and classify customer needs
  • How to ensure process improvements don’t slip over time and remain in control.
